Commentary on the economy, the markets, and business

Now I'm not much of a 'Mad Money' fan, but those noise buttons are pretty danged cool

cramer

That's me, chomping on a bull's head after interviewing Jim Cramer today for next week's 10 Questions. Apart from when he's talking about how mean Jon Stewart was, Cramer is really compelling (in a rambling, totally neurotic sort of way). He didn't yell or say "booyah," but he did let me push all the noise buttons to the left of his desk in the photo.

Cramer's still on the air? Wow. I must be naive. Somehow I thought that if you were shown on national television talking about how to commit fraud and illegally dodge regulations you wouldn't get to host a television show telling people what to do with their money. Heck, in a lot of countries, that kind of thing should theoretically get at least an investigation into your practices started, if not get you tossed in the can on the strength of self incrimination alone. My bad.

Ypu do realize, of course, that is a shameful testimony to the overall state of the business press that it was Jon Stewart who had to be "mean" to him?

Sean is quite right. This whole crowd is unbelievably irresponsible. They're like an usher yelling "fire!" in a crowded theatre.
