Commentary on the economy, the markets, and business

Turned it in

And this time I mean it. I just hit the send button a few minutes ago on the final draft of The Myth of the Rational Market. I still owe my editor a few extras, like a cast of characters (there are many) and a recommended reading list, and I'm sure there's still much tweaking to come. But the major stuff is, finally, done. I mean, I probably could revise it all 10 more times. I won't, though.

This should mean I'll start writing better blog posts and columns, returning phone calls promptly, and doing something other than sigh and slump my shoulders when people ask how the book is going. No guarantees, though.

The publication date? Amazon says it's June 9, 2009. And I think that (unlike all the other pub dates Amazon has listed through the years) might actually be for real.
